Infant/ Toddler Care 



Infant care is from 6 months to 2 years old.  Infants go through many changes during these months. Baby develops trust and emotional security as his/her primary caregiver learns to respond appropriately to their unique temperament, his/her needs and his/her interests.  Caregivers and teachers provide  careful observation, knowledge of child development and respect for each child’s temperament, interests and capabilities. The active and responsive caregiver takes cues from each child to know when to expand on the child's initiative, when to guide, when to teach and when to intervene.
